Canvas
Keller ISD has taken a big step in integrating technology into our classrooms. Canvas is a key system that helps teachers provide a safe, online environment for their students. Canvas is a learning management system. This system allows teachers to create an online classroom where they can communicate with their students in a secure environment. Teachers can post files assignments, quizzes, videos, and facilitate discussion boards through Canvas with their classes. Canvas is available to students 24 hours a day from any location. Students can access Canvas on any device either through a web browser or an app.

How do I find it?
Go to https://kellerisd.instructure.com
You can also download the Canvas app to your phone or tablet.
If you are doing a Google search, make sure you search for "KISD Canvas" rather than just "Canvas." Many districts use Canvas, and your login will only work on the Keller ISD canvas page.
Library Canvas Course
You will want to join the FRHS Library Resources course to have access to important library information and tutorials. This course has enabled open enrollment, so students, teachers, and parents can self-enroll in the course with the following link and code:
URL: https://kellerisd.instructure.com/enroll/93JDND
Alternatively, you can sign up at https://kellerisd.instructure.com/register and use the following join code: 93JDND
How do I log in?
Students can use their Keller ISD email as their username and district password to log in. Student emails are usually the first initial, middle initial, full last name followed by [email protected]. For example, student Samuel Alexander Hamilton would have a district email address of [email protected]. If there is another student in the district with that exact same name, they might have a "02" at the end of the last name instead of "01." To find your district assigned email address, you can log in to your Home Access Center account and view it under the registration tab.
This student email address is what they will use to log in to their Google Drive account (drive.google.com) as well as their canvas account.
Their password is typically set as their first initial, middle initial, last initial, followed by their numeric birthday, with no preceding zeros. For example, student Samuel Alexander Hamilton has a birthday of July 11, 2000. His password would be sah7112000. If his birthday were July 1st, 2000, his password would be sah712000.
Parents can set up a parent account by going to https://kellerisd.instructure.com and clicking on the parent banner.
